GUMBOOTS is an electrifying 90 minutes of pure entertainment - twelve of South Africa's finest performers explode onto the stage in an exhilarating extravaganza of dance, song and the infectious energy of African rhythm.

Born out of the 19th century South African tradition of Gumboot Dancing, where mine workers were forbidden to speak during the long days underground, forcing them to communicate with each other through movement and the rhythmic slapping of their Wellington boots.
